Volunteer for 1 week in Haiti
Duration of Program: 1-2 weeks
Typical Duration of Program: 1-2 weeks
Dates: TBD

Description: We are please to announce the Haiti volunteer program. This is a program geared toward individuals who desire to spend sometime in Haiti to volunteer for what will be a memorable and life changing experience. Participants will be able to stay for a week at our farm in Thomonde, where food and lodging will be provided. There, participants can aid in any number of volunteer services ranging anywhere from training, building or a number of agricultural projects currently being facilitated by Farm Haiti.

This is a very unique opportunity for individuals to directly aide in sustainable efforts. We believe that the best way to go about building awareness and making a lasting impact is by having individuals become directly involved in changing Haiti for the better. What those who enter the program will gain is an understanding of the devastation wrought on Haitian soil and what proactive steps can be accomplished to rebuild Haiti for a brighter tomorrow. Program Participants will leave the program with a lasting impression and be empowered with information to bring back to their own constituents.

Only by being directly involved can we hope to make any real impact. This program allows individuals to do just that without having to be burden of personally planning all the logistics and coordination that is necessary to properly plan such a trip and excursion. Our organization is lead by a dedicated staff that are Haitian themselves, thus we are able to provide all the necessary safety majors to insure that all participants of this program will be able to fulfill the program itinerary without any fear.

How to participate

Picture
There are multiple ways to show your support. We invite you to share your expertise in developing or enhancing our current programs and new ones. Participate in fund raising or volunteer on one of our next trips (See below). And lastly  your donations can be ear marked for any one of our many programs.

We see agricultural development as part of the larger role that we play in public health. Our work is not just "farming". It translates into greater food security, improved economic conditions and educational opportunities for the children of these families. We humble accept your support in any way you can and thank you in behalf of the  communities we serve.
